「STORY」
オリジナルの物語にモチーフを絡め、一番印象に残った場面を絵画表現した作品。
物語りを組み立てその世界を往来することは、幼少期の一番好きだった人形遊びと深く繋がりを持っている。
人形を見ていると、どの子も自分に話しかけ動き出す。その姿は幼い私を物語りの世界へ誘い、現実のものとした。
このシリーズは、自身と他者が持ち合わせる想像力の融合を基軸とし、それこそが絵画ならではの魅力と考えている。
「STORY」
In this series of paintings, my work is narrative in nature, born from an imaginary world that mirrors the pretend play of my childhood. It is a world in which dolls spring to life and animals speak. Through painting, I hope to make a connection with the viewer and share my imaginary world.
「COMBINATION」
女性として生きていく中で感じる美しさへの視点を絵画表現した作品。
装飾品の魅力を引き出すため、用意したステージにモチーフを組み合わせ、輝きの存在を顕在化させていく。
美しさに触れ、それらを画面に紡ぎだすことは、掴むことの出来ぬ瞬間的な光を永久的なものにする行為とも言える。
「COMBINATION」
The beauty of jewelry has always captured my heart. In the series "Combination," I emphasize jewelry’s femininity and beauty by framing particular objects with patterns of cut paper or placing it next to other objects. In this way, I hope to make the fleeting beauty of the moment more permanent.
